Conclusion: Learning from the Past to Impact the Present

Throughout this exhibit, we have aimed to deconstruct stereotypes, bring to light hidden perspectives, and consider the impact of journalism here at the College during the last century. We hope this exhibit contributes to your understanding of the progress that William & Mary has made, and the work still to be done. In contextualizing the historical intersection of race in journalism, we hope that you reflect upon your own role in the ongoing movement for racial equality.
